Christian Wierlacher

Consultant

What shapes and inspires my work is the combination of opposing perspectives, aesthetics and realities. The peace and natural beauty of my chosen home in the Rhön mountain allows me to access my inner self, where the pulsating big-city life of the years I spent in Berlin have also found their place.

Three questions for Christian Wierlacher

First contact with the digital era?
Early 1990s: as an economics student watching MBA students sitting at tables in the pub, calling each other on their mobile phones. The feeling of the only apparent digital added value has not left me since.

What gives you hope?
My children and the way they approach the opportunities of this world and the people around them – despite being seen as digital monsters.

Favorite corporate consulting buzzword?
“That’s an iterative process, stupid!”

What others say about Christian Wierlacher

“A good theory is the most practical thing there is and no-one brings this saying more to life than Christian. He is also consistently my favorite colleague when the day’s agenda is already prepared by the time I enter the room.” Dirk Gouder
