Change management creates the impression of a project with a beginning and end. But that is what is no longer certain. Contemporary change processes often involve continuing small and larger processes that build up in waves to ever larger swells – until often, at the peak of numerous change projects, the capacity of the organization is (over-)reached and the wave collapses in on itself.
